| Meet the Winemaker - Michelini Wines
|

Date: Saturday 4 SeptemberVenue: Michelini Wines, Myrtleford Meet Greg O’Keefe, winemaker for Michelini Wines, and taste the Italian varietals on offer as you enjoy tapas-style antipasto platters filled with the best local produce.
Wines by the glass available. $10 per person, bookings essential at the Cellar Door.

An all daylight Rallysprint event with attracts a field of up to 50 rally crews from all parts of Victoria and southern NSW.
The event uses the Mount Porepunkah forest access roads in a race against the clock.
Spectators are welcome to watch and a spectator guide will be available on the day at the corner of Roberts Creek Rd and Back Porepunkah Rd, 9am to 4pm.

| Victoria Tourism Week - Visitor Information Centre Open House

As part of the Victoria Tourism Week, the Bright, Mount Beauty and Myrtleford Visitor Information Centres will be holding special events.
Come and join the staff and volunteers at these centres in celebrating tourism in our region. Myrtleford begins with a pancake/BBQ breakfast between 8am-10am followed by Mount Beauty with a BBQ lunch from 12pm-2pm. Bright finishes the day with a bang with live music on the deck, local produce hamper giveaways, wine tastings from local winemakers and local produce platters from 4pm-6pm.
Entry to each event is by gold coin donation.

| Kid's movies for the school holidays

Date: Thursday 23 Sept and Thursday 29 SeptVenue: Alpine Visitor Information Centre, 119 Gavan St, Bright Keep the family entertained during the school holidays and help raise money for the local kindergarten with an afternoon of kid’s movies at the Alpine Visitor Information Centre in Bright.
Movies start at 2pm, entry is $5 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Date: Every FridayVenue: Bright Brewery, Bright Every Friday this month tour the Bright Brewery and get an explanation of how beer is brewed. Finish with a Tasting Tray of our 6 Mountain Crafted beers.

Come and enjoy the Mount Beauty Community Market day on the first Saturday of each month from 9am - 2pm.
A wonderful community involvement featuring goods such as local food, produce, arts, crafts, plants, jewellery, sewing goods, buskers and even locally made skincare and cosmetics, all on offer for sale on the day.
Come and join in with the locals and have a relaxing wander around all the stalls. Lots of local eateries join in with fine fare as well. A very relaxed, safe and fun time to be had for tourists, families and locals alike.
This market has around 25 stalls selling local produce and home made goodies, crafts and trash and treasure.

If you’re a foodie or wine buff, you’ll especially love our market …Bright is situated in the heart of the Great Alpine Valleys; our own little food bowl! We have a wealth of fresh produce – including fresh nuts, fruit and vegetables, freshly baked breads, locally made cheeses and meats.
And, when you need a break from the shopping, sit back and be entertained by a our local performers guaranteed to get you in the groove. We haven’t forgotten about the children either, they will absolutely love the array of activities hosted by one of our many community group which may include face painting, craft activities, balloon animals or even the egg and spoon race.

| Taste Alpine degustation dinners at Villa Gusto

Date: Every Wednesday to SundayVenue: Villa Gusto, Buckland Valley Savour fresh, hand-selected local produce in Villa Gusto’s five course degustation menu. During the Bright Spring Festival (Oct 22 – Nov 2), the focus will be on local wines from the Buckland Valley and Porepunkah regions.
Bookings essential, dinner costs $70 per person, wines not included.
