Located in the Nug Nug Valley, on west side of Mount Buffalo. Self contained holiday units with Buffalo River frontage and close to picturesque Lake Buffalo. Located on the Buffalo River only 16km from Myrtleford, we offer the closest accommodation to the picturesque Lake Buffalo.

The Holiday units are fully self contained and can sleep up to six people comfortably. Situated separately from the main homestead they offer complete privacy and have ample parking for vehicles and boats. They each have their own gas BBQ and spectacular views over the property.

Nug Nug Wah is one of the oldest homesteads in the district and has beautiful gardens for guests to relax in and enjoy the scenery. There are magnificent groves of established specimen trees which attract a multitude of birdlife and cooling shade for those hot days. The river, which is accessible from the property, offers the chance to fish for trout, Murray cod or redfin. It is also the home to platypus and fresh water crayfish. Or, if you prefer, Lake Buffalo is the ideal spot for boating, water-skiing and other water sports.

In winter you can take advantage of the daily bus service from Myrtleford to Mount Hotham and Dinner Plain and spend the day on the ski slopes, returning each night to the comfort and warmth of the units.

Located off the beaten track in our beautiful tranquil valley, the units are the perfect place to “get away from it all” or spend your time exploring the world renowned wineries and gourmet food basket of the north east.

Built in 1869, with beautiful views of Happy Valley and is set in a vineyard and olive grove. Experience modern facilities in a romantic and historic setting and taste our award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil and our Sangiovese and Albarino Wines. The Homestead Estate is a hosted Bed and Breakfast set in the original homestead in Happy Valley, eleven kilometres from Myrtleford. There are three suites, two with ensuite and the third with its own private bathroom and spa.

The Homestead Estate offers fully cooked breakfasts and other meals by arrangement. Meals are served in the dining room or on the extensive verandahs. Complimentary cheese platter and sparkiling wine are served on arrival and tastes of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and wines produced in our olive grove and vineyard are available.
